How do I book a yellow slip appointment in Cyprus?
Under Law 7(I)/2007, EU citizens staying over three months apply for the MEU1 registration certificate through the CRMD or their local Aliens unit. To book, call or email your district office with your name, nationality and number of applicants — there is no working online portal. Nicosia's CRMD headquarters generally accepts walk-ins, while other district offices require an advance appointment, often several weeks ahead in busy periods.

What documents do you need, and what happens at the appointment?
Bring originals and one photocopy of each document: the completed MEU1 form, valid passport and copy, proof of a Cyprus address, recent bank statements or an employer letter, health insurance if you are not employed locally, two passport photos, and the €20 fee. All applicants, including children, attend in person for biometric data. For EU citizens on MEU1 the yellow slip is usually issued quickly; non-EU family members on MEU2 take longer.
