Aligned with the government’s objective to attract foreign investment and contribute to economic growth, Regulation 6(2) of the Aliens and Immigration Regulations empowers the Ministry of Interior to grant residence permits to individuals from non-European countries intending to make investments in the republic.

Benefits of the Cypriot Golden Visa

The application process is streamlined, boasting a high approval rate when all criteria are met.
Physical residence in Cyprus is not compulsory, but a visit every two years is necessary.
Dependents, including the main applicant's spouse and children under 25 years, can enroll in top-tier private schools offering English-language courses.
The entire application process can be managed remotely, with the exception of biometric capturing.
Successful applicants become eligible to apply for Cypriot citizenship after five years of continuous residence.

Financial Criteria

The applicant is required to invest at least €300.000, in one of the following categories:

Acquire a maximum of two newly constructed residential properties, with a combined market value of at least €300,000 plus VAT. This option allows flexibility, permitting purchases from two different developers.
Purchase a maximum of two new or pre-owned non-residential properties, including offices, shops, hotels, or other developments, with a collective market value of at least €300,000 plus VAT.
Invest €300,000 in the share capital of a physical company that is duly registered and operational in Cyprus, employing a minimum of five individuals.
Allocate €300,000 towards units in the collective investments of the Cyprus Investment Funds Association (AIF, AIFLNP, RAIF).
